The DMS wizard form allows the user to add a new DMS, and edit existing devices.
The DMS wizard can be accessed from the DMS ribbon tab.
Specify the device location by dragging the icon on the map or by typing GPS coordinates in the boxes in the top right corner.

| Device Definition |
allows the user to enter the Street names, Asset Number, and Type for the DMS. Currently, NTCIP is the only supported Type. also allows the user to specify a Purpose and Route, and Multi-Window designation. Purposes include Travel Time, General, and Portable |
| Multi-Window DMS | the checkbox designates the DMS as a multi-window DMS, allowing further configuration from the Multi-Window DMS wizard on the ATM tab of the ribbon menu. |
| Type HW/SW | allows the user to enter the sign Manufacturer and Category. |
| Polling Parameters | allows the user to enter the Failure Threshold and number of Retries for communication with the DMS. These range from 1 to 10 or can be set to Infinite. |
| Polling State | allows the user to Enable or Disable polling for the DMS. |
| Addresses | allows the user to enter the Drop address, select a Line for the DMS, and enter the last octet of the IP Address (for UDP lines). |
| Additional Information | allows the user to enter comments. |
